Why should you attend Expo?

The Northern Green Expo will bring green industry leaders from five states to the Minneapolis Convention Center on January 6-8, 2010. The Expo is the largest trade show and educational conference in the north central region dedicated exclusively to green industry professionals. The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) and the Minnesota Turf & Grounds Foundation (MTGF) partner each year to put on the event.

"The Expo gives exhibitors and attendees the opportunity to meet face-to-face to discuss the hottest products, innovative ideas and new services," said Bob Fitch, executive director of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association, which manages the show. "If you're in the green industry, the Expo is the place to be."

Northern Green Expo serves all aspects of the marketplace, including nursery and greenhouse growers; garden center operators; landscape and irrigation contractors; landscape designers; lawn, tree and gardening professionals; golf course and park superintendents; school and cemetery grounds supervisors; sports turf managers; and arborists.

Expo has averaged nearly 7,500 attendees each of the past seven years. Key owners and other management personnel focused on purchasing decisions comprise a large block of the attendance. “We have a loyal and powerful buying force at Expo,” Fitch said.

"In this challenging economy, buyer behavior is changing," said Kathy Aro, MTGF Executive Director. "They're exploring new supplier options, and putting more emphasis on price, quality and service than ever before. Being face-to-face is critical to keeping current customers and building new business, making the Expo an ideal venue to do business."
