Super Tuesday Registration


Make the most out of Expo week...devote an extra day to education! Join us on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Minneapolis Convention Center for a full day of education programs before Expo.  Note that Super Tuesday programs require separate registration from the Northern Green Expo. 

Registration
Advanced Registration ONLY! The advanced registration deadline is December 16, 2009 for all programs. There will be NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. Advanced registration for all programs includes all materials and coffee breaks. Lunch is included with the Building Business and Working Smarter, EAB and Applied PLT Landscape Lighting sessions. A registration confirmation letter along with directions will be e-mailed to all participants.

Building Success and Working Smarter: For Managers, Foremen, and Crew Leaders
8:00am - 3:00pm

Phosphorus Fertilizer Training
1:00pm – 5:00pm

Applied PLT Landscape Lighting Training
(Qualifies for 8 hours of PLT Relicensure)
8:00am – 5:00pm

This class provides eight hours of Power Limited Training credit orientated specifically towards the landscape lighting specialist. The 8 hour class will contain: Two clock hours of specific National Electrical Code training; and 6 hours of applicable training.  Technical training will include: Principals of 12 Volt Outdoor Lighting: Design; Landscape Lighting Installation – Wiring and Circuits; and LED Landscape Lighting - How New Technology is Changing the Landscape Lighting Business.  Click here to read more...

EAB Learning From Experience: Case Studies From Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana and Research Update
8:30am – 4:00pm

Learn from those who have lived through the arrival of EAB. Speakers share their first-hand experiences and include:

  • Urban foresters from the cities of Chicago and Fort Wayne
  • Golf course superintendent from a Michigan course
  • Commercial arborist who successfully integrated EAB treatments into his treecare business

Topics include: assessment, budgeting, Inventory, treatment, risk, removal, replanting, in-house vs. contracted labor, and more.

The program also features Dr. Chris Williamson, Entomologist with the University of Wisconsin Madison who will provide the most up-to-date insecticide research findings from leading scientists in EAB states.  Click here to read more...

All Super Tuesday sessions will be held regardless of weather conditions on Tuesday, January 5, 2010.  See the refund policy below.

Refund Policy
For all MNLA/MTGF education events, MNLA/MTGF will gladly make a full refund of your registration fee if cancellation notice is received more than two business days in advance of the event. In the two business days prior to the event, a 50 percent refund will be given. No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations made the day of the event. Cancellations may be made in writing, by fax, or by telephone call received at the MNLA office during normal business hours.
